Booking
Once full payment has been received, you will be allocated a place on your selected tour and a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
By making a booking with Darby O’Gill Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
We accept no responsibility for incorrect email addresses supplied during the booking process or for any inability to deliver email confirmations. If your confirmation does not arrive, it is your responsibility to contact us so that it can be reissued.
It is the responsibility of the passenger to check the accuracy of all booking details upon receipt of their confirmation.
No Shows
If you fail to attend your booked tour and have not notified Darby O’Gill Tours in writing prior to departure, all monies paid will be forfeited and no refund or alternative tour will be offered.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the cost of your ticket.
We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain suitable travel insurance prior to travel.
Darby O’Gill Tours and Callinan Coaches Ltd accept no responsibility for injury, loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during the course of any tour.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to Darby O’Gill Tours.
Passengers are entitled to a full refund where cancellation is received at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled departure date.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within five (5) days of departure. Subject to availability, bookings may be transferred to an alternative tour date provided the request is made at least forty-eight (48) hours before departure.
Tours purchased as part of a special offer or promotion may not be cancelled and rebooked under a different promotional rate.
If your reason for cancellation is covered by a travel insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim directly with your insurer.
Refunds
Approved refunds will only be processed to the original payment card used when making the booking.
Changes by Us
Darby O’Gill Tours reserves the right to amend tour prices, itineraries, departure times, routes or vehicles where operational circumstances require.
While every effort is made to operate tours using Darby O’Gill Tours branded vehicles, we cannot guarantee that the vehicle used will carry Darby O’Gill Tours livery.
Travelling
Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Ireland and the European Union while travelling with us.
We cannot accept responsibility for the actions or behaviour of other passengers or for any facilities or services affected by such behaviour.
Due to traffic conditions, road closures, weather, special events or other circumstances beyond our control, departure and arrival times cannot be guaranteed. While every effort will be made to operate services as scheduled, Darby O’Gill Tours shall not be liable for delays or missed connections.
Departure & Pick-Up Points
The principal departure point for Darby O’Gill Tours is:

Additional pick-up points may vary depending on the tour selected. Passengers should carefully review their booking confirmation and arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
All departure and arrival times are approximate and may be affected by traffic or operational conditions.
Passenger Responsibilities
Tour guides and drivers will clearly communicate departure times from attractions and scheduled stops throughout the tour.
Passengers are responsible for returning to the coach at the designated departure times. Failure to do so may result in the tour departing without them in order to avoid disruption to other passengers and the tour itinerary.
While every reasonable effort may be made to assist passengers who miss a departure, Darby O’Gill Tours cannot guarantee rejoining the tour and accepts no liability for any costs incurred.
Children Under 4 Years of Age
Our day tours involve long periods of travel and are designed primarily for adults and older children. For this reason, we do not recommend the tour for children under the age of 4 years. Parents or guardians choosing to travel with a child under 4 do so at their own discretion and are responsible for ensuring the child’s comfort and wellbeing throughout the journey. Darby O’Gill Tours reserves the right to refuse travel where, in the opinion of the driver or tour guide, participation may affect the comfort, safety or enjoyment of the child or other passengers.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, you should notify your driver or tour guide immediately so that every effort can be made to resolve the matter during the tour.
If your complaint cannot be resolved at the time, it should be submitted in writing to Darby O’Gill Tours within fourteen (14) days of the tour date.
Complaints received outside this period may not be investigated.
Weather Conditions
Tour itineraries may occasionally be affected by adverse weather conditions or events outside our control.
Darby O’Gill Tours cannot accept responsibility for changes to itineraries, delays or cancellations arising from weather conditions.
No Smoking Policy
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited on all vehicles operated by Darby O’Gill Tours.
General Conditions
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the passenger and Darby O’Gill Tours.
No statement, representation or promise made by any employee, agent or representative shall form part of this agreement unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of Darby O’Gill Tours.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
Darby O’Gill Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on our website and shall take effect immediately upon publication.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information contained within our website, brochures and promotional materials. However, Darby O’Gill Tours cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, omissions or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
